Meet Your Summer 2022 Interns

Damita Sara George

My name is Damita Sara George and I will be a senior at Foothill High School for the 2022-23 academic year. I wanted to pursue the Genesis Internship Program to learn more about being a community organizer and improve my interpersonal skills.

Shehan Thomas George

Hi, my name is Shehan, and I'm a rising freshman in Foothill High School. I'm 14 years old and I go by he/him pronouns. Something I like to do for fun is to play basketball. I joined this upstream internship to completely stop the stem of babies (parallel from the parable) rather than just giving out temporary solutions. I also believe that it would be a good experience for me to be working with others to achieve the goal.

Sarah Masih

My name is Sarah Masih, and I am a rising junior at Foothill High School. I love reading, writing, and hanging out with my friends. My interests include literature, science, psychology, and social justice. I chose to intern at Genesis for Youth for a chance to work with people who share my interests and learn more about youth advocacy.

Franny Baronian

Hey I’m Franny Baronian! I’m 23 years old and I use she/her pronouns. I’m a third year college student at San Francisco State University. I’m studying English literature, anthropology and professional writing and rhetoric. I’m excited to be a part of this amazing community because I have always enjoyed learning about Genesis from Mary and I can’t wait to contribute to my community and educate those around me!
