Genesis Youth Internships

Since 2014, Genesis has engaged youth into our campaigns as "community organizer trainees." Genesis Youth Interns can expect to support Genesis with a spectrum of experiences, including:

1)  Social Media engagement via our Instagram (genesis_for_youth) and Facebook (genesisca.org) 

2)  Meetings with public officials and other decision makers who rarely meet with youth leaders

3)  Listening and learning from Genesis leaders, who are committed to seeing our values in the world by knowing our neighbors and centering the people who are affected by the issues we care about.

Genesis has provided community service hours and monetary stipends for our Youth Interns.

Criteria:

• Age 13-25 years old

• Ability to work independently, in person and via Zoom
