After interning with Genesis for three years, we are proud to say farewell to Andrew Robinson! He graduated with the class of 2018 from Northeastern University in Boston, MA with a major in International Affairs and a minor in Russian Language. Andrew has recently moved to Munich, Germany to teach English as a foreign language. Reflecting on his time with Genesis, Andrew thinks about the importance of community organizing and advocacy in helping to create positive change. He also has greater understanding on the internal programming non-profit organizations do, from managing contacts to updating the website and helping to organize events. Andrew got an education in some of the most serious issues facing our community, such as youth incarceration and limited access to essential transit. As an educator, these issues matter greatly to him and he is grateful he had the opportunity to learn and grow with Genesis, carrying these lessons and skills into his next journey. We congratulate him and look forward to hearing about all he accomplishments in the future!
