Donations/Pledges/Grants enable Genesis to recruit and train grassroots community leaders and build social justice action teams in member congregations and organizations. We have one staff person, a full-time community organizer, whose work gives us a strong presence in the community, enables us to mobilize for social justice action in a consistent manner, and create, train, direct and advise core teams in member congregations and organizations.
Further, your generosity allows us the advantage of an ongoing relationship with the Gamaliel Foundation providing us with regular consultation and training to maximize the effectiveness of Genesis staff and its leaders.
The primary benefit of funding Genesis is leadership development. We identify and invest in basic, advance and ongoing training and consultation to equip leaders with knowledge, skill and the confidence to act on behalf of others in the public arena. Donations to Genesis are tax-deductible.
