*Core Team Assembly - These assemblies are composed of members of Core teams from each member congregation and organization. This is the group that makes decisions about social justice issues and actions to be pursued. It also identifies individuals for national leadership training and other training offered by the Gamaliel Foundation.
Annual Fund Raiser – The purpose is to actively generate operating funds in the form individual pledges and online donations, to complement membership dues, and foundation grants we are fortunate to receive.
Annual Meeting – This event is planned by the Leadership Council (2 delegates from each member congregation or organization) for the purpose of electing leaders, setting the next year’s calendar and goals, receive reports and conduct other business as needed.
Issues Task Forces – Appointed by the Core Team Assembly, Genesis undertakes year-round mobilization of member congregations and organizations for social justice actions on equity matters such as, transit, housing, environment, health, immigration.
